Mashed potatoes and their variations


Ingredients (for 4 à 6 people)

  • 700g potatoes
  • 125g whole milk
  • 125g butter
  • 125g heavy cream
  • Coarse salt

Preparation

  • Peel your potatoes and place them in a pot of cold salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until a knife slides in and out effortlessly.
  • Drain the potatoes, then mash immediately using a potato masher or a whisk.
  • Add the milk, cream, and butter in small pieces, then whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • At this stage, choose your option. Option 1: Season with fleur de sel to taste and enjoy. Option 2: Add 3 tablespoons of olive and porcini oil, then season with summer truffle salt diamond to taste. Option 3: Add 3 tablespoons of virgin grilled rapeseed oil, season with fleur de sel to taste, and grind about 15 turns of the wild pepper mill.
